Lucy (Thompson) Haisch

Lucy (Goose) was born Nov. 30, 1949 and died July 8 after a five-year battle with cancer.

She is survived by her mother, Irene Thompson; daughters Robin Standlea and Ginny Springer; brothers Dennis, Jim (Jenny) and Joe (Carol); sister Margie Erdman (David); grandson Jeremy Springer; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lucy enjoyed walking in many marathons with her aunt Vera including Bloomsday and two 3-day breast cancer walks. She loved clogging, riding her motorcycle and traveling with her longtime friend, Kay.

She was a blessing to her family and friends and will be missed.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 29 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Moose Lodge in Moses Lake.
