Gregory J. Allen

Gregory J. Allen's life of 32 years was celebrated at his memorial service July 13 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gallup, N.M. Pastor Don Steele officiated. Greg died July 8 at Odyssey Hospice in Tucson, Ariz. Greg graduated from Rehoboth Christian High School and after his double-lung transplant, the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Engineering. He was employed as a teacher and recently as a counselor with Gallup McKinley County School District. He was a train enthusiast, league bowler, and competitive volleyball player. Greg was involved actively with Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Gallup Baptist AWANA youth program, and Broken Arrow Bible Ranch as camper and later as counselor.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda E. Allen of Tucson, Ariz., whom Greg married June 10, his parents Ed and Judy Allen of Moses Lake, and his brother Christopher Allen of Everett.
