Notice of Rescheduled Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that Grant County has rescheduled the public hearing for the following project:

A request for a Variance received on May 2, 2006 from Clay Johnson (Designated Contact: Philip Bloom, 321 S Beech St., Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-166-1226); and found to be technically complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of June 15, 2006. PROJECT: A variance to reduce the minimum road frontage required for new lots of 50'. SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Short Plat. STUDIES REQUIRED: Wetland Delineation. LOCATION: The site address of the subject area is 2722 Elgin Lane NE, Moses Lake, WA, located at the northern end of Elgin Lane in Cascade Valley; and is a portion of S 20, T 19 N, R 28 E, WM, Grant County, WA. (parcel # 17-0764-000) ZONING: Urban Residential 2. Required mitigation will be pursuant to the Unified Development Code. RESCHEDULED OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING Board of Adjustments hearing, 7 pm, August 9, 2006 in the Commissioners Hearing Room, at the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 623; office hours are 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm August 8, 2006 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
