Notice is hereby given that a request for a Variance was received on July 7, 2006 from John Wright, 9679 Superior Court, Moses Lake, WA 98837, 509-765-9531; and was found to be technically complete and preliminarily appears to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of July 19, 2006. PROJECT: A Variance to GCC 23.12.130 Parking Standards, this standard requires off-street parking in the Urban Heavy Industrial (UHI) zone to be paved. The variance would allow the applicant to provide unpaved parking for employees (30 stalls) and truck storage (30 stalls). SEPA: Exempt. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: Short Plat & Discretionary Use Review. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The subject parcel is located in the southwest quarter of the intersection of Road N NE and Road 2 NE, east of Moses Lake and north of Interstate 90; and is a portion of S 29, T 19 N, R 29 E, WM, Grant County, WA. (parcel # 18-0243-001) ZONING: Urban Heavy Industrial. Required mitigation will be pursuant to the Unified Development Code. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: Board of Adjustments hearing, 7 pm, August 9, 2006 in the Commissioners Hearing Room, at the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the above listed materials.
