NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO INCREASE

PRODUCTION AT AN AIR POLLUTION

The State of Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) has received an application from D&L Foundry and Supply, Inc to increase production to 30,000 tons per year and utilize maximum capacity of the existing equipment at the iron foundry. The plant is located at 12970 Road 3 NE, northwest of Wheeler in Grant County, within the SE 1/4 of Section 17 of Township 19N, Range 29E of the Willamette Meridian. After review of the completed application and other information on file with the agency, Ecology has made a preliminary determination that this proposal will comply with all requirements for air contaminant emissions as specified in Chapter 173-400 WAC. Copies of the Preliminary Determination and other pertinent information are available for public review at Ecology, 4601 N. Monroe, Spokane, WA 99205-1295, and at the City of Moses Lake, Community Development Department, 321 South Balsam Avenue, P.O. Box 1579, Moses Lake, WA 98837. The public is invited to comment on the project by submitting written comments within 30 days of this notice to Robert Koster at the above Ecology address in Spokane. A public hearing may be held if significant public interest is determined to exist.
