Jo Ann Sue Corral

In memory of Jo Ann Sue Corral (Jo, a loving mother). Born March 7, 1933 in Konawa, Okla. to Henry and Helen Brown. Taken from her loved ones July 10.

She grew up in Oklahoma, finished school and continued on with two years of college. She married and started a family in Idaho. In 1968, she moved her family to Moses Lake. She had a successful career with the civil service, to include Columbia Basin Job Corps and the United States Postal Service. In addition to working full time and raising her five children, she successfully farmed with her husband Robert Corral, who preceded her in death.

She retired from the post office and continued to successfully farm. Upon the passing of her husband, she decided to retire from farming as well. She continued to enjoy life with travels and adventures with her lifelong friend and companion, Clyde (Tex) Kimbro. She loved reading, gardening and just being grandma. She also enjoyed many hours spent with her "McDonald's" group as it was one of her rituals.

She was surrounded by her family, many acquaintances and friends who were cherished by her as part of her life. She touched the lives of everyone she knew with her infectious laughter, her positive attitude, her warm smile and loving heart. She truly loved life and all it had to offer and will be missed and remembered by all. Her children will always live with the strength, wisdom and love she instilled within them. We will miss you.

She is survived by her sister, Marie Lull of Bellevue and her children, Jim, Mike, Nancy and Mark. She is also survived by her children: Wes and Debbie Marchmonte of Moses Lake, Cris Marchmonte of Wenatchee, Robin and Kimmie Marchmonte of Moses Lake, Suzanne Marchmonte and Bob Hellewell of Moses Lake, Jeri Jameson of Las Vegas, Nevada; her step-children: Bobby Corral, Richard Corral, Daniel Corral and Cindy Corral all of Moses Lake; her grandchildren: Greg Engel, David Herman, Scott Herman, Michel Marchmonte, Cameron Marchmonte, Tiffany Marchmonte, Rachel Marchmonte, Hillary Jones, Andy Corral, Tyre Corral, Tawnie Corral, Casey Corral, Alicia Corral, Sara Corral; and her great-grandchildren: Keenan Williams, Madison Herman and Nicholas Corral.

As per her request, there will be no graveside service. A gathering for family and friends will be announced at a later date to celebrate her life.
