Timothy Lewallen
Timothy Lewallen, 52, of Sheridan, Wyo. passed away July 6 at Presbyterian Saint Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colo. due to complications from Leukemia, bone marrow transplant and GVHD (Graft Versus Host Disease).
Timothy was born to Charles "Lew" and Bertha (Rossignol) on Dec. 26, 1953 in Bangor, Maine. He was the oldest of six children and six adopted children. Timothy worked in the oil fields of Wyoming until the early 1980s when the oil field went bust. He then moved to Washington state where he made his living as a farmer and mechanic. Eventually, he got his journeyman electrician card which was his occupation until December 2005. He moved back to Wyoming in the summer of 2003 to be closer to all his family — his greatest love. Timothy worked for Ultimate Electric and had been working for them for several years prior to his death. He loved his churches, Grace Harvest in Moses Lake and Cornerstone Church in Sheridan, Wyo. His latest passion was gold panning with his brother, Andy.
Timothy was preceded in death by his dad, Charles Lewallen. He is survived by his mother, Bertha Lewallen of Sheridan, Wyo.; his wife, Julia Lewallen of Sheridan, Wyo.; his daughters LaCosta Dyer, Jami Lewallen, Monica MacMillan all of Casper, Wyo. and Audreanne Lewallen of Douglas, Wyo.; his nine grandchildren and one expected grandchild in Sept. 2006.
Funeral services will be at the Cornerstone Church on Thursday, July 13 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Tony Forman officiating. Internment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Visitors may see Timothy at Cornerstone Church between 1 and 2 p.m. Thursday before the service. Arrangements are in care of Kane Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials in Timothy's name be made to Brent's Place, 1129 East 17th Avenue, Denver Colo. 80218.
