Nancy J. Eilers

Nancy J. Eilers, 79, Moses Lake resident and formerly of Quincy and Royal Slope, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 1. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 7 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories with Pastor Mark Bassett officiating. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel of Memories, Moses Lake.

Nancy was born May 15, 1927 in Seattle, daughter of the late Earl and Emily (Stewart) Robbins. She was raised and educated in Seattle, graduating from Holy Names Academy in Seattle in 1945. She was married to Edward "Ed" J. Eilers on September 13, 1947. They lived in Seattle and New Mexico prior to moving to Quincy in 1952. They farmed in the area for many years and in 1967 relocated to Royal Slope where they continued to farm until retiring in 1995. They moved to Moses Lake at that time and have lived here since.

Nancy was a member of the Royal City Golf Course and the Moses Lake Golf and Country Club. She loved to golf and spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed many trips to Hawaii.

Nancy is survived by six children and their spouses, Jerry Eilers, Royal Slope; Patti and Rusty Taylor, Ellensburg; David and Theresa Eilers, Royal Slope; Ron and Debrah Eilers, Moses Lake; Jacquie Harrison, Royal City; Dan Eilers and Molli, Moses Lake; three sisters, Patricia Hobson, Renton; Margaret Anderson, Marysville; and Rita Sterry, Northridge, Calif.; one sister-in-law sister Ann Patrice-Eilers, Seattle; fourteen grandchildren: Glenna, Steve, Jill, Eric, John, Matt, Nate, Jayclynn, Isaac, Cole, Amber, Jana, Carly and Cody; eleven great-grandchildren: Kody, Samantha, Ryder, Rayce, Tinley, Drew, Brody, Cayli, Colbie, Connor and Collin.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Eilers in 2002.
