Man arrested in hit and run Friday morning

Victim treated at Samaritan Hospital
MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake police arrested 25-year-old Jose Cisneros of Moses Lake Friday morning.
Cisneros hit 59-year-old Howard Brooks early Friday morning with his Honda Civic at the intersection of Grape Drive and Kevin Way.
Brooks was hit after attempting to talk with Cisneros who had just dropped off Brooks 15-year-old daughter at her home.
As Brooks approached, Cisneros' vehicle began to accelerate and lifted Brooks up and over the hood of the car.
Brooks was taken to Samaritan Hospital and treated for numerous abrasions to his body, none of which are considered to be life threatening.
