Ken married Beverly Zenger in 1951 and moved his family to Moses Lake in 1954, where he was employed by Allison Lumber Co. Ken worked weekends part time driving cattle truck for Harms Feed Lot. In 1960 Ken started his own business, Gabrio Livestock Transport, with one truck and trailer. In the 17 years he owned the business he built it to five semi trucks and trailers. In 1972 he married his wife Shirley Goodwin. They continued the business together until 1977 at which time they sold the trucking business and purchased the Westerner Trailer Court. Ken and Shirley owned and operated the trailer court until 1992 and retired on Moses Lake where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and woodworking. He was a man who had a great love of the outdoors.
