NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO THE GRANT COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

2005 Amendment Process

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on February 1, 2006, commencing at 7:00 p.m. before the Grant County Planning Commission for a site specific land use re-designation request to the Grant County Comprehensive Plan from Urban Residential 3 to Urban Commercial and inclusion in the Urban Growth Area for the City of Moses Lake. The application was made by Gail Adair, and includes other property owners in the immediate vicinity; Pamp Meiers, Ray Brown and John Hermann, joining the land use redesignation request.

The location of the subject property is in the central portion of Cascade Valley, Moses Lake in a portion of the S.W. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of Section 17, Township 19 N., Range 28 E.W.M. and contains approximately 12 acres in total.

The public meeting will be held in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room at the Grant County Courthouse, in Ephrata at which time any person or persons may appear and provide testimony either for or against said land use redesignation request. Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509) 754-2011, Ext. 396; office hours are 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. Comments must be submitted not later than January 27, 2006 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code.
