Maria Dolores "Lola" Martinez
Maria Dolores "Lola" Martinez, 70, Moses Lake resident, and former longtime Othello resident, passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2006 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.
Holy Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church led by Deacon Frank "Paco" Martinez. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6 with Father Alejandro Trejo and Deacon Frank "Paco" Martinez as celebrants.
Internment will follow in Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens in Othello. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.
Public viewing will take place at the church on Thursday, Jan. 5 from noon until 9 p.m.
Maria is survived by her husband of 51 years, Eliseo V. Martinez Sr. of Moses Lake; her children Rosa Maria Gonzalez and her husband Juan Manuel Gonzalez Sr. of Moses Lake, Maria A. Olivarez and her husband Eliazar Olivarez of Kennewick, Eliseo Martinez Jr. and his wife Connie Martinez of LaPorte, Texas, Luciano "Louie" Martinez and his wife Elizabeth Martinez of Moses Lake, Cesar R. Martinez and his wife AnaMaria "Anita" Martinez of Spokane. Maria loved and was proud of her 11 grandchildren and her 18 great-grandchildren. Maria lived her life for her family and was a proud and noble wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister-in-law and friend who was loved and cherished by everyone that her life touched.
We are proud and honored to have had her in our lives and know that one day we will see her soon and will embrace her with all the love that she showed us.
