REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Public Safety Communications Engineer
For
Multi-Agency Communications Center (MACC)
Grant County 911 Dispatch
Responses Due; March 1, 2006 on or before 4:00 pm.
The Grant County Multi-Agency Communications Center (MACC) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for a public safety communications engineering company to assist in the design, construction and implementation of a new public safety radio communications system.
Firms submitting SOQ documentation shall have the following minimum requirements:
1. Have a minimum of 5 years of public safety communications engineering experience working with agencies of similar demographics as Grant County. This experience shall include working with Law Enforcement, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services, and 911 Dispatch agencies.
2. Have demonstrated successful system implementation projects including system design, site design, and system implementation.
3. Have a Washington State Registered Professional Engineer on staff.
4. Have experience designing and remodeling public safety emergency dispatch centers.
5. Responses shall be limited to 15 pages, excluding resumes.
