SOAP LAKE — Last week law enforcement officials concluded a two-month investigation into a major source of methamphetamine in the Ephrata and Soap Lake area with the arrest of a 49-year-old Soap Lake woman who was allegedly running a drug house.

Becky Ann McDonnel was booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver, fortification, maintaining drug property, three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of counterfeit controlled substance, the Grant County Sheriff's Office reported.

On Thursday, members of the interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team along with sheriff's officer personnel and the Soap Lake Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence northeast of Soap Lake.

Upon entry, law enforcement officers arrested McDonnel. Authorities confiscated approximately 70 grams of methamphetamine, $1,000 in cash and three .22 caliber firearms in the bust.
