Arthur E. Grubb, "Babe," "Uncle Stinky"

Arthur E. Grubb, "Babe," "Uncle Stinky," 50, of Moses Lake, entered into rest on Jan. 30, 2006. Long time resident of Moses Lake, born on Sept. 9, 1955 in Soap Lake, attended Moses Lake High School. He was very athletic in football, baseball, wrestling, gymnastics and track. He enjoyed concrete construction, installing carpet and operating farm equipment. His passions were being with his grandkids, cooking, wood working, yard sales and road trips. He also liked to tell stories and being a practical joker. He always told everyone that he was going to be a singer when he grew up, and we all waited patiently for that day to come.

He is survived by the love of his life for the past 15 years, Vicki Grubb, one son Justin Grubb, his stepchildren Dawn Clemons and husband Mike and Loyd "Tre" Stalsbroten. He had five grandchildren, Tayler "T" Hunt, Colin Clemons, Alex Clemons, Allison Clemons and Jacob Blades, also his dogs, "Shorty" and "Baylee." His mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Jack Hargrove of Chewelah. His brothers include Richard "Spike" Grubb of Moses Lake, Larry and Lynn Grubb of Mukilteo, Joe and Denise Grubb of Soldotna, Alaska, Russ and Sandy Grubb of Beverly Hills, Calif., Mike and Lisa Grubb of Soldotna, Alaska, and his favorite sister Lynette and Joey Coleman of Chewelah. Nieces and nephews, Jason Grubb of Moses Lake, Josh, Trish, Jeffrey Grubb of Moses Lake, Lacy Grubb of Anchorage, Alaska, TJ, Eric, Skyla Cox of Soldotna, Alaska, Cody, Matt, Jamie, Mason Grubb of Soldotna, Alaska, Kylynn and Blake Grubb of California and Dominick James Arthur "Cowgirl" Coleman of Chewleah. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur J. Grubb.

Babe (Art) was loved dearly by his family. We will miss his beautiful smile and he will live on forever in our memories.

Memorial luncheon will be held by the family on Saturday, Feb. 18, starting at noon at the Moses Lake Moose Lodge, 417 W. Broadway Ave.
