NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGES TO A WATER RIGHT

TAKE NOTICE: That on 7/28/05 James and Marjory Sackett

of Chelan County, Washington filed an application with the Grant County Water Conservancy Board which was accepted and assigned identifier No. GRAN-05-006. The Department of Ecology has assigned a Tracking Number CS4-14257C to this application. You are encouraged to inquire further as directed below, but be advised of the following details:

Attributes of the Original Water Right Number SWC 7263: Issued to Frank J. Bagwell with a priority date of 3/12/57 for .78 cubic feet per second (cfs), 200 acre feet from the Columbia River within the W1/2 of the NW1/4 of Section 10 for seasonal irrigation of 50 acres within the E1/2 of the NE1/4 of Section 9and the W1/2 of the NW1/4 of Section 10 all above sections are in T26N, R22E.W.M. in Chelan County, Washington.

The applicant proposes to retain 37 irrigated acres, 150 acre feet, .585 cfs (3/4 of the right) on the existing place of use and point of diversion and transfer the balance as follows: The new owners would be Ed Kane and Ross Clemenshaw, .195 cfs (87.47gallons per minute), 50 acre feet from 2 wells in the NE1/4SW1/4 of Section 18 and the NE1/4NW1/4 of Section 19, respectively, for the seasonal irrigation of 13 acres located in Section 18 below the Platt of Trinidad and North and East of Crescent Bar Road all within T20, R23E.W.M. in Grant County, Washington. No increase or change is proposed in the purpose of use or total amount diverted.

Any protests or objections to the approval of this application may be filed with the Department of Ecology and must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a fifty dollar ($50.00) recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, Water Resources, Eastern Regional Office; 4601 North Monroe Street; Spokane, WA 99205, within thirty (30) days from 02/08/06 (the last date of publication of this notice). Any interested party may submit written comments, objections, and other information to the board regarding this application to its offices located at 3953 Airway Drive N.E., Moses Lake, WA 98837. The comments and information may also be submitted in writing or verbally at any public meeting of the board until the board renders a decision on the application. This application will be on the board agenda during its regular meetings to be held at its offices, commencing 2/23/2006 at 9:00 A.M. and on the fourth Thursday of each month thereafter at 9:00 A.M. at that same place until the board renders a decision on the application.
