Construction to be finished in March
MOSES LAKE — Weather delays construction of Sinkiuse Square.
There are roughly three weeks of work left for the square to be completed, but the three weeks cannot be done right away, Richard A. Law said.
Work should start again in mid-February and be finished by March when the weather is warmer, he said.
The weather is too cold to finish the final touches. Landscaping, brick and concrete work needs to be completed, he said.
The bathrooms, sidewalk benches and trash receptacles were installed last week.
"Electricians and plumbers are working inside to get it running," Law said.
Electricity will power the clock on Third Avenue once the bathrooms are complete.
