Projected cost is $960,000
QUINCY — Software company Intuit progresses toward a home in Quincy.
Council signed an agreement with the company to share the cost of installing and connecting sewer lines to the city, City Administrator Tim Snead said.
"Intuit will pay for half of the sewer and water lines to the city and the city and the port will pay for the other half," he said.
The total cost of the project is about $960,000, he added.
Intuit has not yet purchased the property they plan to construct on, he added. The property is north of Road 11 and northeast of the Yahoo! site.
Construction is anticipated to begin in two to three months, Snead said.
