Jesse Ryan Goetz

Jesse Ryan Goetz, 49, entered into rest on Nov. 27, 2006, in Marlin, Wash.

He was born on July 9, 1957, in Spokane to Richard and Lorraine (Frick) Goetz. Jesse graduated from Odessa High School in 1976. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Marlin, the Ritzville Gun Club and the Grant County Volunteer Firemen.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine Goetz of Marlin; one brother, Dennis Goetz and Debra of Newman Lake, Wash.; three sisters, Cheryl Nichols and Mike of Odessa, Barbara Hayleck and Ray of Brookville, Md., and Annette Krause and Charles of Ritzville. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews: Michael Nichols, Markham Nichols, Charlie, Ryan and Jonathan Hayleck, Adam, Jessie and Jocelyn Krause, Nathan, Jamison, Nicholas and Teshera Goetz; five great nieces and nephews, Dylan, Drew, Collette, Michael III and Carson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Goetz in 1994.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m. at Zion Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Odessa. Pastor Bill Goodin officiated. Concluding Services and Vault Interment followed the funeral at the Odessa Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Grant County EMTs, Concordia College, St. Louis, Mo. or to the donor's choice.

Strate Funeral Home, Davenport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
