PROPOSED AMENDMENTS and GMA MANDATED UPDATE

TO THE GRANT COUNTY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public meeting will be held on August 30, 2006 commencing at 2:30 p.m. before the Board of County Commissioners in compliance with Section 25.12.030, Grant County Unified Development Code, for the purpose of initiating SEPA and application review for the proposed amendments to the Grant County Comprehensive Plan for the 2006 cycle, and the Mandated Growth Management Act Comprehensive Plan update. A decision by the Board to initiate the SEPA and plan amendment review process for a particular proposed amendment at this stage is procedural only and does not constitute a decision by the Board as to whether the amendment will ultimately be approved.

The public meeting will be held in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room at the Grant County Courthouse, in Ephrata.
