Roger L. Biallas

Roger L. Biallas, longtime Moses Lake resident peacefully passed away on Aug. 19, 2006 at his home with his wife and children by his side, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Roger was born to Albert and Ruth Biallas on March 12, 1935 in Great Falls, Mont. He graduated from Conrad High School in 1953. Roger married the love of his life, Marilyn Philipps, on August 7, 1954. He and Marilyn moved to Moses Lake in 1955, where Roger was a member of the Army Reserves.

Roger was always an active member of the business community, owning and operating The A & H Printers for 41 years. He served on the Moses Lake City Council and was a past president of the Moses Lake Lions Club. Roger was also an active member of the Chamber of Commerce. His greatest joy was his family, followed closely by "The Shop."

Roger was preceded in death by both of his parents. He leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Marilyn; son Mark Biallas; grandsons Alex and Spencer Biallas and their mother Danette; daughter Stephanie Biallas, all of Moses Lake; granddaughter Sheena Biallas, of Spokane; also his brother, Mark D. Biallas of West Virginia.

At Roger's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Roger's name.
