IN THE MATTER OF VACATING A RESOLUTION NO. 06-210-CC

PORTION OF A CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD INTENTION TO VACATE AND

RIGHT-OF-WAY NOTICE OF HEARING

WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, considered a certain county road right-of-way useless, and by this resolution entered upon it's minutes, declared its intention to vacate and abandon a certain county road right-of-way described as follows;

Legal Description: A STRIP OF LAND 40 FEET IN WIDTH IN THE SOUTH HALF SOUTHEAST QUARTER, SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 19 NORTH, RANGE 29 EAST, W.M., LYING WITHIN FARM UNIT 37, BLOCK 41 AND ALSO PARALLEL AND ADJACENT TO THE NORTHERLY SIDE OF THE NORTHERN PACIFIC RAILWAY RIGHT-OF-WAY, AS SHOWN ON THE FARM UNIT MAP FOR BLOCK 41, ON SHEET 9, DATED DECEMBER 28TH 1973.

SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT A, B, AND C

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration should be given to vacating portions of certain County roads and right-of-way and directs the County Road Engineer to prepare a report on said vacation and abandonment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing on the report and other related matters shall be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington located in the County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at (2:30 PM on August 29th).

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Commissoners of Grant County Port District Six {Wilson Creek Port District] have completed the Preliminary Budget for 2007 operating period and a copy of said Preliminary Budget is posted for public view at the Public Works Building, 104 4th Street in Wilson Creek. Washington. Copies of the Preliminary Budget are available from the Commission Secretary upon request (345 0225).

Notice is further given that Grant County Port District Six Commission will hold a public hearing at the Public Works Building in Wilson Creek on 13 September 2006 at 7 p.m. for the purpose of affording the public the opportunity to be heard for or against the proposed budget. Following the hearing the board will move to fix and adopt the budget.
