Notice is hereby given that an application for a PUD Amendment and SEPA Checklist were received on July 25, 2006 from Gary J. Varney, 758 Harmony Lane, Enumclaw, WA 98022, 253-219-6033; and were found to be technically complete and preliminarily appear to be consistent with the Unified Development Code and other applicable State and local requirements as of August 1, 2006. PROJECT: An amendment to the Desert Aire PUD. The PUD amendment will allow the development of a single-family residence on a lot currently designated for condominium development. SEPA: SEPA DNS issued August 1, 2006. ADDITIONAL PERMITS: None. STUDIES REQUIRED: None. LOCATION: The site address the subject parcel is 308 Desert Aire Dr. N, Mattawa, also known as, Lot 12 of the Replat of Desert Aire Condominiums; and is a portion of Section 22, Township 14 North, Range 23 East, Willamette Meridian, Grant County, Washington. (Parcel #02-1701-000) ZONING: Rural Village Residential 2. Required mitigation will be pursuant to the Unified Development Code. OPEN RECORD PUBLIC HEARING: Planning Commission hearing, 7 pm, September 6, 2006 in the Commissioner's Hearing Room, at the Grant County Courthouse, 35 C Street NW, Ephrata, WA 98823. At this time any person(s) may appear and provide testimony. Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 623; office hours are 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Comments must be submitted no later than 5pm August 25, 2006 to the Planning Department. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, hand delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law and County Code. This may be the only opportunity to comment on the PUD Amendment and SEPA Determination.
