MOSES LAKE —Four Grant County residents, three under the age of 18, have now been arrested in connection to a string of burglaries on the city's west side in recent weeks.

Moses Lake Police arrested a Moses Lake man and a 15-year-old boy early Thursday in connection with the burglaries at three businesses, one day after arresting two Moses Lake teens in connection to the case.

David L. Walker, 18, and a 15-year-old boy were each arrested in connection with recent burglaries at the Hair Academy, Las Donas and Mi Carniceria. Walker was booked into the Grant County Jail and the teen into the Grant County Juvenile Detention Center.

A third suspect was questioned and released by Moses Lake Police, who said the man would be charged with third-degree malicious mischief for his role in the broken window incidents at the Hair Academy.

The arrests come one day after a 14-year-old and 15-year-old boy were both arrested and booked into the juvenile detention center, after an alarm led officers to a burglary at the Hair Academy early Wednesday morning. The two teens reportedly admitted their involvement in two previous burglaries at the business, according to Moses Lake Police.

Los Donas was burglarized early on July 24, and Mi Carniceria early Tuesday morning. Police believe they have connected the teens to all three burglaries, and to all malicious mischief that has occurred at the Hair Academy.

Little money was stolen during the burglaries, and Moses Lake Police Capt. Jim Jenkins said more money was lost in damages than in theft.

Moses Lake Police are continuing to investigate the burglaries, and said one more arrest is expected in the case.
