Grant County Request for Proposals (RFP) Professional Services

Comprehensive Plan Update

Grant County is requesting proposals for professional consultant services for the purposes of conducting a review of the County comprehensive plan and development regulations as required by the Washington State Growth Management Act (RCW 36.70A.130). The comprehensive plan was initially adopted in 1999 and has not undergone a major review since adoption.

The completion date for this project is the statutory deadline with project budget of $75,000. The final product will result in compliance with the statutory requirement to review and, if needed, revision to the comprehensive plan and development regulations to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Growth Management Act.

Consultants must have extensive experience in comprehensive land use planning, public participation, and visioning. Firms must also have performed similar work of other communities and possess a strong knowledge of the State of Washington Growth Management Act (GMA).

Proposals should consist of, but not limited to, the following: 1) A statement of interest; 2) A statement of qualifications; 3) A general description of the firms approach; 4) A flow chart outlining the time schedule to complete deliverables; 5) Hourly billing rates; 6) Client references; and 6) A sample of similar work.
