Notice of Application and Public Hearing

Aho Construction I, Inc. has submitted the Lakeland Addition Phase 4 Major Plat application with a variance request to the minimum lot width of 65' at the front building line on April 13, 2006. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on April 21, 2006. The proposal is to subdivide 12.25 acres into 47 residential lots in the R-1, Single Family Zone. The site is located east of SR-17 and north of Nelson Road and abuts the terminating point of Lakeland Drive. A SEPA checklist was required. The project has been determined to be Consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following Development Regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code Title 18 Zoning, Title 14 Environmental Regulations, Title 17 Subdivisions, and Title 20 Development Review Process.

Written comments on this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on May 5, 2006 Public comment may be provided up to the date of the public hearing which is scheduled for May 25, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 401 Balsam Street. In addition, persons who want to be informed of future actions or the final decision on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completion and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in Chapt. 20.11, Appeals.
