| April 21, 2006 9:00 PM

PROSSER ‹ Vince and Carol Bryan, owners of the Cave B Estates Winery and Cave B Inn at SageCliffe in George, are among those nominated by their peers in the state's wine industry for consideration as 2006 inductees into the "Legends" of Washington Wine Hall of Fame.

A selection committee representing each of the viticultural regions in the state evaluated and ranked nominees according to their service to community, involvement in the industry and the historical value of their contribution to the wine and wine-grape growing industry.

The Bryans have combined their interests, talents and hard work to create a showcase of international significance, according to a press release from the Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center. Original owners of the Gorge Amphitheatre and Champs du Brionne, their property currently includes the inn, winery, Tendrils restaurant, spa and a driving range.

The hall of fame will have a permanent home in the Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center in Prosser. The center broke ground in March on its 24-acre site overlooking the Yakima River. The center will hold a gala July 8 to recognize the nominees at the Prosser Wine & Food Park.
