NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, in Grant County, State of Washington, there will be held a Special Election in Quincy School District No. 144-101-J, for the purpose of submitting to the voters a proposition for: Proposition No. 1 REPLACEMENT MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION LEVY: Shall a Special Tax Levy for Maintenance and Operations of the Quincy School District be collected in 2007 of $2,375,000, an estimated $2.92 per $1000 assessed valuation and be collected in 2008 of $2,425,000 an estimated $2.93 per $1000 assessed valuation for Quincy School District No. 144-101-J, be approved?

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that All of Grant County is now voting by All Mail. No Polling places will be available. You may return your ballot by mail or in person. Returning your ballot by mail requires a first-class postage stamp. Your ballot must be postmarked no later than the day of the election. We suggest you mail your ballot by Monday the day before the election or sooner, to ensure a valid postmark.

You may bring your ballot to the Grant County Auditor's office, 35 C St NW, Ephrata, Wa. Office hours are 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. On Election Day Only, the Auditor's office and the following designated drop-off locations will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. for ballot drop off.

If your ballot is destroyed, spoiled or lost a replacement ballot may be obtained at the Grant County Auditor's Office up to 8:00 P.M. on Election Day.
