Edith Katrina North

Edith Katrina North passed away Sunday, March 26. Edith was born in Dedham Mass. in 1918 to Ernest and Ada Illemann.

During World War Two in 1943, Edith married William North, a Naval Officier in Hollywood Calif.

Edith lived with her husband in San Diego Calif. and enjoyed square dancing, bicycling and traveling to Hawaii and the Scandinavian countries. She is a lifetime member of the African Violet Society of America.

They moved to Seqium in 1989 and after her husband passed away she moved to Moses Lake in 2001. For the past five years she resided at Hearthstone Inn in Moses Lake. Edith's family appreciates the kind care she received from Hearthstone's staff.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Evelyn Illemann (sister), and brother Ernest Illemann.

Survivors include her daughters Valerie Wade and Ellen Schoenfedlt. Grandchildren Daronna (Wade) Reppe, Darmon Wade and Kim (Wade) Christianse, Lonnee, Sean and Denzel Schoenfedlt. Seven great-grandchildren.
