Winifred M. Davey

Winifred M. Davey, 77, passed away on Sept. 20, 2005 at the Life Care Center in Ritzville.

Winifred, the daughter of Peter and Alice Snediker Pichotta, was born December 29, 1927 at Boy Lake, Minn. She married Harry C. Davey Sr. August 11, 1944 in Okanogan. He preceded her in death in 1999. The family lived in Tonasket for over 15 years before moving to Quincy. Winifred continued to live in Quincy until five years ago when she entered the Ritzville Life Care Center.

Winifred is survived by two sons, Harry M. Davey of Othello and Jody S. Davey of Ephrata; four daughters, Alice Gillespie of Shreveport, La., Peggy Parks of McGill, Nev., Linda Ernst of Spokane and Windy Hatt of Bonney Lake; a brother, Kenneth Pichotta of Conroe, Texas; and a sister, June; 20 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Besides her husband, Winifred was preceded in death by a brother, Peter Pichotta.

The families of Winifred Davey are planning a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the George Community Center in George.

Danekas Funeral Home, Ritzville, was in charge of cremation.
