Peggy Ann Johnson

Peggy Ann Johnson, 80, a resident of Soap Lake for 19 years, passed away Sept. 21, 2005 while at home with her family.

Peggy was born Jan. 24, 1925 in Kent to Timothy Harn and Emma White as Margaret Ann Harn.

She was married to Nils Johnson, her spouse and partner of 20 years.

Peggy was a graduate of Kent High School, class of 1943.

She was a writer and poet as well as executive secretary of the Boeing Company, Computer Services Division from where she retired in July of 1990. Additionally, she was an entrepreneur in the businesses of Johnson Enterprises, Memos Etc., and Creations 200.

Peggy was an active Soap Lake community participant and accomplished writer and published poet.

She is survived by her four children: Tim Lawrence, Jane Tucker, Marla Johnson and Richard Monson; her husband, Nils Johnson; two yorkshire terriers, Murphy and Duffy; sisters Martha Richer and Sally Dolan; and brother Timothy Harn.

A public viewing will be held today at Nicoles Funeral Home in Ephrata. Funeral Mass is to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church in Ephrata.

A final memorial service and burial will be held at 1p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetary and Funeral Home in Seattle.
