Donald W. Crogan

Donald W. Crogan died last Tuesday. He was 86 years old.

He moved to Moses Lake from San Francisco in 1957 to become the anesthetist at the newly built Samaritan Hospital. He also served as the assistant administrator for a time, before moving to Spokane to become the head of surgery and recovery at Sacred Heart Hospital in 1968.

He belonged to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marge, and son, David.

He is survived by his sister Dorothy Dubour of Santa Rosa, Calif.; three daughters and their husbands: Donna and Pat Palmerton of Moses Lake; Denise and Greg Huggins of Vancouver; and Diane and John Mortia of Honolulu; two sons and their wives: Dean and Deborah Crogan of Spokane; and Dan and Liz Crogan of San Diego; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

We will all miss him and his humor.
