Notice of Application and Public Hearing

Jerry Smart submitted the Bluff West Major Plat application on August 3, 2005. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on August 31, 2005. The proposal is to subdivide 14.7 acres into 33 residential lots in the R-1, Single Family Zone. The site is located approximately 100' south of the intersection of Cove West Drive and Westshore Drive and north of the Moses Lake Heron Park. A Wetland Delineation and SEPA checklist were required. The project has been determined to be Consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following Development Regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code Title 18 Zoning, Title 14 Environmental Regulations, Title 17 Subdivisions, Title 19 Growth Management, and Title 20 Development Review Process.

Written comments on this proposal will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on September 21, 2005 Public comment may be provided up to the date of the public hearing which is scheduled for October 13, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 401 Balsam Street. In addition, persons who want to be informed of future actions or the final decision on this proposal should provide their name and address to the project planner. The final decision on this proposal will be made within 120 days of the date of the notice of completion and may be appealed according to the City appeal provisions specified in Chapt. 20.11, Appeals.
