NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Sealed bids will be received from qualified roofing contractors by the Port of Moses Lake, 7810 Andrews St. NE, Suite 200, Moses Lake, Washington, 98837, until 2:00 p.m., November 14, 2005, for the roof repair on four (4) buildings located at the Grant County International Airport. Bids received after this time will not be considered.

Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form provided within the Specification Documents in the manner provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as prescribed in the Instruction to Bidders, payable to the Owner in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of Bid.

The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional Bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents.

SCOPE OF WORK

Includes Built-up Roof System removal/replacement and salvage/recover as specified on four buildings at the Port of Moses Lake, Grant County International Airport Industrial Park.

Qualified Roofing Contractors may obtain Bidding Documents, including Instructions to Bidders, Form of Agreement, General Requirements, Drawings and Specifications, entitled 2005 Port of Moses Lake BUR Re-Roofing Bids, starting October 28, by phone request to 503/628-2882 (or 888/916-5100). MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE for all bidders will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2005, starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Port of Moses Lake Maintenance Building, 8114 Andrews St. N.E., Moses Lake, WA.

BID OPENING

Bids will be opened and read publicly aloud by the Port of Moses Lake Board of Commissioners during their regular meeting conducted on Monday, November 14, 2005. The Port of Moses Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities, without cause.
