Chisato (Chi) Omori, 84, passed away Oct. 19, 2005 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Chi was born and raised in Toppenish. In 1941, Chi married Aiko Osumi and in 1942 they went to Hart Mountain Internment Camp (Wyoming). Upon leaving the internment camp in 1944, they moved to Spokane and then later that year settled in Moses Lake where he became a lifelong resident and farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Aiko; son Ron Omori; daughters Marlene and Bob Ota and Tami and Nathan Edwards; granddaughters Kim Marth and husband Chuck and Jynni Edwards; grandson Jon Edwards; great-grandsons Jeremy and Christopher Marth; sister Tazu Higashi; and his dog Dusty.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser Chapel and Crematory of Moses Lake.
