Linda Jean (Dana) Bashaw

| October 21, 2005 9:00 PM

Linda Jean (Dana) Bashaw, 43, of Moses Lake, was called home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake with her loving family at her side.

She was born on Nov. 25, 1961 in Gresham, Ore. to W. Lamar Dana and Karen L. Page. Linda spent her entire life in the Columbia Basin, attending school in the Ephrata and Quincy school districts.

She married Joseph Bashaw on Feb. 14, 1982 in Ephrata and they had five children, Christina, 28; Justin, 26; Katie, 20; Jennie, 17; and Vickie, 14.

Linda was an amazing woman, wife and mother. She passed her love of cooking and family onto her children and grandchildren.

You could often find Linda laying on the floor surrounded by toys singing and playing with her children, and recently her grandchildren. She lived and breathed for her children and seven grandbabies.

Linda enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts, gardening and collecting angels. Over the years she made at least a thing or two for each of the ones she cared for. She always kept her yard beautiful and her garden plentiful. Angels watched over every inch of her home and Linda believed that there was one angel for every moment of our lives.

Linda is survived by her husband, Joe Bashaw; four daughters, Christina Castro, Katie Bashaw, Jennie Bashaw, Vickie Bashaw; a son, Justin Bashaw; grandmother Dorothy Staples; seven grandchildren, Kimberly, 13, Crystal, 12, Monique, 8, Zachary, 2, Sydney, 20 months, Valerie, four months and Riley, 4 months; her mother, Karen Page; two brothers, Larry Dana and David Dana; two sisters, Barbara Kapalo and LaNell Warren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wilfred Dana; father, LaMar Dana; and brother, Gary Dana.

Services will be held on Monday, Oct. 24, at 1 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Moses Lake.
