CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WARDEN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City Council, City of Warden in the Council Chambers, 201 So. Ash, Warden, WA on October 25, 2005 at 7:00 PM.

The purpose of the hearing is to review community development and housing needs, inform citizens of the availability of funds and eligible uses of the state Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and receive comments on proposed activities, particularly from low- and moderate-income persons and persons residing in the City of Warden.

Up to $1,000,000 may be available to the City on a statewide competitive basis to fund public facility, housing, economic development, or community facility projects that principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons.

The draft application for the Water Reclamation Facility proposal will be avaiable for review at the Warden City Hall, October 20, 2005 at 12:00 PM. Comments may also be submitted in writing to City of Warden by October 24, 2005.

A Spanish interpreter will be available. The Council Chamber is handicap accessible. Additional arrangements to reasonably accommodate special needs will be made upon receiving twenty-four (24) hours advance notice. Contact Mike Thompson at 509-349-2033, Warden City Hall.
