Stanley W. Smart

Stanley W. Smart, 82 of Moses Lake entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2005. He is survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Pat; a brother, Daniel R. Smart of Vancouver; a son, Chuck Halstead of Spokane; three grandchildren: Noelle of Shoreline, Heidi and Charlie of Spokane; and four great-grandchildren: Coral of Atlanta, Ga., David of Shoreline and Chaz and Chance of Spokane.

Stan was born in Spokane and after his marriage to Pat moved to Tacoma and then to Gig Harbor. They moved to Moses Lake in 1995, and he was a resident at Lakeridge for almost two years.

Stan loved people and was known for his wonderful smile and his singing of the gospel.

A memorial service will be held at the Moses Lake Alliance Church on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005 at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations many be made to Youth Dynamics of Moses Lake.
