NOTICE OF MITIGATED

DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Moses Lake issued a Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) under the State Environmental Policy Act Rules (Chapter 197-11 WAC) for the following project:

Bluff West Major Plat - Subdivide 14.7 acres into 33 single family residential lots in the R-1, Single-Family Residential Zone with associated street and utility construction. Two category III Wetlands have been delineated on the site which require a 25' buffer. The proponent is Smart Homes, Inc. and the site is located approximately 100' south of the intersection of Cove West Drive and Westshore Drive in S29, T19N, R28 E.

After review of the completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the City of Moses Lake, the SEPA Responsible Official has determined this proposal will not have a probable adverse impact on the environment if the stipulated mitigation is provided. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-340(2) the lead agency will not act on this propsal for 14 days from the date of determination. Comments on the MDNS must be submitted by October 13, 2005 to the Responsible Official.
