Edna May Elliott

Edna May Elliott, 83, passed away on Nov. 25 at Sunbridge Care and Rehabiliation In Moses Lake.

Edna was born Jan. 15, 1922 in Warspite, Alberta. On May 26, 1955 she received her U.S. citizenship. She was raised in Redmond, Washington. After working and raising her family she went back to school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked as a nurse until she retired. Edna enjoyed several years traveling in her motor home. Wintering in Arizona was a special joy for her. She settled in Moses Lake to be near her family. She was very active at the Ephrata and Moses Lake Senior Centers. She was close to her church family, who brought her great joy.

Survivors include her daughter Diane Starzman, grandchildren Crystal and Bret Starzman. Her son Wayne Chunn, his wife Jeanine, and the grandchildren Murray, Amelia, Aaron and Roger Chunn. Her daughter-in-law Susan Alsted, granddaughter Cathy Strickland and husband Michael, granddaughter Sherri Kasparek, husband Greg, and granddaughter Amy Alsted. Eight great-grandchildren, her sister Amelia McClintick and husband Charles (Mac).

She was preceded in death by her son David Alsted, five brothers and three sisters.

No memorial service will be held.
