Former mayor and Cougar Classic chairman Wayne Rimple putts on the No. 18 green at the Moses Lake Golf and Country Club. Rimple was one of more than 144 golfers who participated in the annual Cougar Classic fundraiser to raise money for the Washington State University Athletics Foundation. The golfing event featured coaches from the university, including head coach Bill Doba of the football team. The team of Heaverlo, DAno, Tunstall and Levenseller took first with a team score of 51.
