IN THE MATTER OF VACATING A PORTION OF A CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY

RESOLUTION NO. 05-233-CC

INTENTION TO VACATE AND NOTICE OF HEARING

WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, considered a certain county road right-of-way useless, and by this resolution entered upon it's minutes, declared its intention to vacate and abandon a certain county road right-of-way described as follows:

Legal Description: ALL THAT PORTION OF ROAD 23-NE, ROAD LOG NUMBER 50580, LYING IN THE SOUTH HALF OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 27 EAST, AND LYING IN THE NORTH HALF OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 22 NORTH, RANGE 27 EAST, ALL IN GRANT COUNTY.

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that consideration should be given to vacating portions of certain County roads and right-of-way and directs the County Road Engineer to prepare a report on said vacation and abandonment.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing on the report and other related matters shall be held in the Hearing Room of the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington located in the County Courthouse, Ephrata, Washington at 2:30 P.M., JUNE 7th, 2005.
