Estefana T. Gonzalez

Estefana was born April 17, 1918 in Ciudad Mier, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She later moved to Corpus Christi, Texas, where, at the age of 14, she met her future sweetheart and husband Jose R. Gonzalez. Estefana and Jose were married the year 1939 in Tamaulipas, Mexico. They lived in Edingburg, Texas until 1953 when they moved their family to Washington State.

She was employed at Chef Reddy Foods in Othello, after 16 years of service she retired. Estefana and Jose celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1989; the year of Jose's passing.

She was preceded in death by her father & mother, one sister and three brothers, her husband Jose and sons Jose and Joel.

Estefana is survived by sisters: Elena Reese, Jovita Maldonado; daughter: Alicia G. Medel; grandchildren: Alicia (Cesario), Jorge (Angie), Araceli (Jason), Conchita, Marisol (Daniel), Avi (Nyko), Junior, Moises, Hector, Joel, Jose, Mirna, Edith, Yadira, Edelma and 15 great-grandchildren.

"Grandma Fane" as known by her family will be greatly missed but always remembered for her traditional beliefs and her open heart.

Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Thursday, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moses Lake.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, with Father Jesus Ramirez as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens in Othello.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

Viewing will take place at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

George White

George White, 72, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2005 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2005 at Falls Cemetery in American Falls, Idaho.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

Viewing will take place at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5 until 7 p.m.
