Katherine Jesse "Kay" Rasor, 72, longtime Royal City resident, passed away Monday, March 28, 2005 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Royal Memorial Gardens in Royal City with Pastor Tim Snyder officiating.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake. Katherine was born May 6, 1932 to the late Chris & Mary Matheson in Ellensburg, Washington. She married Neil Varvel Rasor on February 9, 1949 in Seattle, Washington and made their home in Royal City where they farmed. Neil passed away January 24, 1989. Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Steve & Linda Rasor of Royal City, WA and Archie & Jane Rasor of Tempe, AZ; a brother, Chris Matheson; a sister, Isabel Roseburg; one granddaughter, Holly Botes of Royal City; two grandsons, Ryan Rasor of Moses Lake and Colin Rasor of Phoenix, AZ; a great-grandson Hayden Rasor and 2 great-grandchildren on the way. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Tom and Gary.
