C. Lois Edwards

Lois was called home to celebrate Easter with her Savior Wednesday, March 23 while she slept. She was a resident of Hearthstone Inn. Born Cynthia Lois Singleton in Arkansas Pass, Texas on May 10, 1913, the youngest of 5 children born to Walter and Lela Singleton. At the age of 10 she moved to San Diego, Calif. with her parents and oldest brother, Lee, the only surviving sibling.

In 1937 she married the love of her life, Fred E. Edwards, in San Diego. They had 2 children, Gene and Sharon. They lived in San Diego until his death in 1992. Lois moved to Moses lake in 2000 to be near her daughter. She is survived by her children Gene and Carolyn Edwards and Sharon and Jerry Tate all of Moses Lake; 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Kim (Peter) Padilla of Vancouver, Wash., Kelly (Bob) Johnston of Chula Vista, Calif., Fred (Kristin) Edwards of Moses Lake, Stace (Joan) Tate of Monroe, Wash., Cyndi (David) Ewards of Federal Way, Wash., and Dennis (Michelle) Tate of Spokane, Wash.; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at Kayser's Chapel of Memories on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m.

Private committal services will be held at a later date in San Diego.
