Notice of Application and SEPA DNS

Notice is hereby given that the Grant County Planning Department has initiated the following land use application and found it to be technically complete as of March 18, 2005 and ready for processing, public review and comment. The Grant County Planning Department has issued a SEPA Determination of Non-Significance (DNS). The proposal includes: 1) An amendment of Chapter 22.04 Land Division of the Unified Development Code (UDC) by adding a new section that would provide an alternative method for extinguishing and/or relocating utility easements; and 2) An amendment to the Landscaping Standards in the Development Standards, Chapter 23.12 of the UDC. The above land use applications shall be considered before the Grant County Planning Commission at an open record public hearing at 7 p.m. on April 6, 2005 in the Commissioner's Hearing Room in the Grant County Courthouse. Copies of the proposal (File # 05-4038) are available from the Grant County Planning Department, 32 C St. NW, Room 13, PO Box 37, Ephrata WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 extension 620. Comments must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. April 6, 2002, to Dorothy Black at the above address. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, personally delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law.
