Carl Dreher

Carl Dreher, 76, of Othello, Wash., passed away on Palm Sunday, March 20, 2005.

Carl was born November 20, 1928, in Haworth, Okla., to Ernest and Frances Dreher.

He moved to Richland in 1946 and graduated from Richland High School in 1947. Carl went to work for General Electric in 1947 and took disability retirement in 1978 from Atlantic Richfield Co.

Carl is survived by his wife Jean and two children. Lyn Soehnlein and husband Karl of San Antonio, Texas. Steven Dreher and wife Lucinda of Prosser, Wash. Grandchildren, Jennifer De Korte and Mark Soehnlein. Sister Margaret Trent of Franklin, Ohio. Two great grandchildren Jeff and Emma De Korte.

Carl was a devoted husband and father. Enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Had a deep love for people, strangers became instant friends.

He was a member of Richland Lutheran Church. A lifetime member of Freemasonry, Richland Lodge, No 283, Kennewick Scottish Rite and Moses Lake Big Bend Shrine Club. Also a Richland High Club "40" Member. He enjoyed the annual reunions where he could spend time with his numerous friends.

At Carl's request there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 911 W. 5th, Spokane, Wash. 99204.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.
