Reba L. Stevens
Reba L. Stevens, 44, lifelong Moses Lake resident, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at 8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Wash.
Reba is survived by her beloved son, Craig Aaron Wilson; daughter-in-law, Erika; and four grandchildren, Jade Leigh of Wisconsin, Ravynn Mage, Ozzleigh Dade Craig, and Berlin Eileen, all from Riddle, Ore. She is also survived by her father, Duane R. Krosch of Alberta, Minn.; mother Janet Bogenrief, of Ortonville, Minn.; three sisters, Darcy L. Kresch-Starling of Sumter, SC., Heidi K. Hemore of Moses Lake, Wash.; several nieces and nephews, Lauren Renee, Haley Kathryn, Bradley Kenneth and Heather Ann to name a close few.
Reba has spent several years in the company of Andrew LaRance, her love, companion and friend. She is preceded in death by her only brother, Scott Joel Krosch, in 1985 and her only daughter, Christy Leigh Wilson, in 1999. Reba left behind numerous other relatives and close friends — too numerous to list.
Reba was born July 21, 1960 in Ritzville, Wash. to Duane and Janet Krosch. After a brief residence in Ortonvlle, Minn., she settled in Moses Lake, Wash. where she lived the majority of her life.
Reba's favorite pasttimes were shooting pool, attending local jazz and blues festivals, being outdoors and playing her harmonica — "harp." Most of all, Reba bragged of her wonderful kids and beautiful grandchildren. She had an uncanny ability to befriend most anyone and could always see the good in any situation. She never failed to bring smiles and laughter to anyone who was near her.
Reba will be missed more than anyone could ever understand. She will, without a doubt, live on in the hearts of all who knew her. To know Reba was to love her. She was always one to get what she wanted at almost any expense. No doubt Reba's last request was her greatest of all, and certainly has been honored. That wish was to finally be reunited with her daughter, Christy, and big brother Scott in heaven.
Memorial services for Reba will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Moses Lake, Monsignor Martin Shehan officiating. All are welcome to attend.
