NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Notice is hereby given that the Grant County Planning Department has received and found the following land use application to be technically complete as of March 2, 2005 and ready for processing, public review and comment. A Minor Zone Change for a ~30.25-acre parcel zoned Urban Public Facilities with a Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation of Industrial (Urban). The applicant is seeking a zone change to Urban Light Industrial. This zone change will make the zoning consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation. The subject property is located North of State Highway 17 and southwest of the Grant County Airport within the Moses Lake Urban Growth Boundary, and is a portion of the NW 1/4 of Section 32, Township 20 N., Range 28 E., W.M., Grant County WA. The above land use application is scheduled for consideration before the Grant County Planning Commission at an open record public hearing at 7 p.m. on April 6, 2005 in the Commissioner's Hearing Room in the Grant County Courthouse. Copies of the application materials (File #05-4018) in the above proposed land use action are available from the Grant County Planning Department, 32 C St. NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 Extension 623. Comments on the zone change may be submitted no later than 5p.m. March 29, 2005 to Hector Torres at the above address. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, personally delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law.
