The above court was petitioned to adjudge your child dependent and to enter an order determining the care, custody and physical placement of your child. There may be further hearings which may permanently terminate all your parental rights to your child.

You have the right to speak on your own behalf, to introduce evidence, examine witnesses, and receive a decision based solely on the evidence presented. You have a right to have a lawyer represent you at the hearing and help you by looking at the files, talking to involved parties, helping you to understand your rights and the law. If you cannot afford a lawyer, the court will appoint one to represent you.
